Description: |
The purpose of the tool is to relieve spring pressure to enable removal of the "keeper" connecting an engine valve and the spring which closes it. The lifting function is achieved by a pivoted lever depressed by a screw with wing nut type finial, which bears against a curved boss on the lever. The working ends of the "arms" are shaped to fit springs and the boss around the push rod. |
