| The British patent combines internal constructions which received U.S. patents 732,858 and 739,316. The Irland Pipe Wrench as produced was based on a further simplification of the internal construction as shown in U.S. patent 800,850. (See entry for 800,850 for 1906 "new product" announcement for the wrench.)
