Description: |
"Flanges" in the opening holding the adjusting nut bear in grooves in the nut in to bear the "strain" rather than the end of the nut riding against the end of the opening. The threaded portion of the shank of the movable jaw is round; the remainder is square and fits in a square "bore" in the handle.
A known example appears to be hand made and was found in a velvet lined leather box with THE "COPPING" WRENCH on a nickel plated plate on the cover. |
