Description: |
The patented feature is the shape of the jaws, and the exterior flanges which form an elipse that allows the tool to form a wire loop and slip out of that loop.
The handle ends are formed as hammer poll and pulling claw; the sliding ring holds the jaws closed.
Advertised as the "LOOPER" in 1898; known examples are marked with the patent date. |
