Description: |
| The movable jaw adjusts via rack teeth. In the form shown in figures 1-5, a spring catch in the frame holding the movable jaw sets the size adjustment. In the form shown in figures 6-7, the movable jaw is held against a rack in the frame by spring pressure, and can be adjusted by pressing against that spring pressure to re-set its position. In both forms, moving the handle in the direction indicated by the arrrow tightens the grip due to the parallelogram linkage in the frame. |
