Stan Schulz "DUDEK" Jar wrench & Jar Clamp (1922 ad)
|
Description: |
The gripping sections are riveted to the handles; a spring tends to open the grip. The specifications note application on Mason jars; the illustration shows a "zinc" lid with glass inner lid and rubber seal ring between the lid and jar shoulder.
A known example does not show evidence of ever having any permanent markings. Dudek's CAP WRENCH and JAR CLAMP (pat. no. 1,410,390) appear in a June 1922 NEBRASKA IRONMONGER ad, with address given as 2222 Y Street, Lincoln, NE. |
