"DUDEK" Jar wrench & Jar Clamp (1922 ad)
Description:
Closing the handles advances a metal "pusher" against the canvas gripping strap. A secondary lever handle within one primary handle adjusts the length of the strap.

Known example produced by Dudek at Lincoln, NE. A known example of Dudek's cap wrench (pat. no. 1,363,316) has no visible markings. These appear in a full page ad in the June 1922 NEBRASKA IRONMONGER as "DUDEK" CAP WRENCH and JAR CLAMP, with address 2222 Y Street, Lincoln, Nebraska.
