Description: |
The central opening in the handle tapers with the narrowest part coming at the end holding the fixed nut and pipe jaw faces. The faces of the central opening have rack teeth. The shank of the movable jaw has corresponding rack teeth, and the pressure on the jaw faces pulls the rack teeth together to hold the adjustment.
The patent has an astounding list of assignees. |
