Description: |
Yet another patent claiming a new way of locking the head. This
time, it's a pretty simple design-- it uses a cleft head with a
bolt pulling the crack together. The primary claim here is that
the gage is cheap to produce, and the locking mechanism will not
mar the bar.
I do not know Mr. How produced these tools commercially, but the
split head design was used by several manufacturers many years
later.
