Description:
The extensive exposition in the specifications describes the workings of oil well drilling in the 1890s. The tool is a swivel wrench for drill bits, etc. that will always hold the work piece in vertical alignment.

Improved by patent no. 561,305 in 1896.

The wrenches and related jack were noted in Mr. Barrett's obituary.
