Description: |
Tongs type wrench with jaws set at an angle. The pivot point of the lever handle can be shifted to adjust the size. The jaw faces are described with teeth and a notch to adopt them for use with nuts and pipe.
The two halves of the wrench can be slid apart and used separately for the nail claw and screwdriver functions on the handle ends.
An October 1, 1904 AUTOMOBILE REVIEW announcement shows a similar wrench with corrugated jaw faces and a hammer poll being brought to market by Ed. Bordervisch & Company of Dayton, Ohio. |
