Description:

The patent covers two features -- a "flip out" half-nut on the movable jaw to disengage the adjusting screw, and a screw-threaded section on the wrench shank providing support for the handle ferule by means of a threaded sleeve extending to the end nut which also supports the wooden handle.

A known example is marked in part, "FITGERALD WRENCH CO. WORCESTER MASS."
