Description: |
The jaws show two open end wrench sizes, with an insertable alligator jaw. Other features of the wrench and auxiliary handle are designed to fit other fittings and supplemental pieces associated with steam heat radiators, including threaded nipples with internal lugs.
A surviving CLAY WRENCH COMPANY (Harrisburg, PA) letterhead from the 1890s suggests these were produced. The three assignees are listed as the company officers. |
