| Clevis with screw-adjusting draft adjustment, and two wrench-headed pins. A vertical threaded rod adjustment similar to this is noted in description of "quadrant clevis" in an 1861 publication. The specifications differentiate this adjustment from the clevis in the Gallatin Plow (pat. no. 3,052).
The patent is noted in discussion of patent applications for wrench-headed clevis pins that appears on pg. 674 of the Dec. 17, 1872 PATENT GAZETTE. |
