The object of my invention is to provide a new, simple, cheap, and convenient implement that may be used, in connection with an ordinary claw-hammer, for extracting nails, spikes, and similar articles, the heads of which are flush, or nearly so, with the wood, into which they have been driven and for so extracting them as not to split the wood.
