        Description: |
| This fruit jar wrench is comprised of a ring with a cam-action lever handle inset at one point in the circumference. There is a motion limit stop for the lever handle, and the tool is flipped over to reverse the direction of action.
Van Altena patented a corresponding jar holder (patent no. 485,850, issued November 8, 1892).
A July 1893 issue of MECHANICAL NEWS announces the wrench and holder are available from the patentee / manufacturer. |
