Description: |
The inventor was an engineer and president of the American Brewing Co.The invention's primary purpose is to orient the workpiece between centers. When the toolholders move closer together the workpiece is kept centered, because one thread is right-hand and the other is left-hand. The workpiece can also be positioned horizontally with the carriage. The headstock is driven by a continuously variable friction drive. |
