Description: |
Jar wrench with features designed to match several size of screw type "MASON" lids, and "LIGHTNING" or "ATLAS" types with rubber sealing rings. For screw lids there are several sizes of curved toothed gripping areas; for the "ATLAS" types, several tapered "knives" or wedges to break the vacuum seal formed by the rubber rings and solid lids.
Known malleable iron example marked "PHILCO" with the patent date; a newer cast aluminum version (marked UNEEK) has additional sizes of grips for lids, and a hook lifter for bottle caps or vacuum sealed jam jars. |
