Description: |
The patent is for the intermediate locking plate which holds the pivot stud in whichever of the slots it is placed. An early example marked "BLEDSOE / Y.M. BLEDSOE BONHAM TEXAS / PAT 5-22-1917" and later production marked with the BLEDSOE logo and patent date are known.
BLEDSOE three-position slip-joint pliers without this patented locking feature were also produced.
