Jeff Joslin Vintage Machinery entry for C. E. Gee Vintage Machinery entry for W. W. Carey
|
Description: |
"This invention relates to improvement in self-lubricating bearings particularly designed for hubs for loose pulleys, although the invention is equally well adapted, with a slight modification, to stationary bearings."This patent is very interesting because it ties together two 19th century woodworking machinery makers: C. E. Gee and W. W. Carey, both of whom manufactured machinery under his own name. It appears that this patent is from Gee's early career, before he started out on his own. |
