Description: |
| This invention relates to wrenches and the primary object of the invention is to provide an improved wrench which can be readily and quickly adjusted to the desired position and firmly locked in said position. A further object of the invention is to provide a wrench having a pair of jaws angularly related to the shank of the wrench and means for quickly adjusting one of the jaws in relation to the other jaw. A further object of the invention is to provide an improved wrench including a shank having a movable and a rigid jaw angularly related thereto and a hand grip slidably mounted upon said shank and operatively connected with the movable jaw in such manner as to permit the quick adjustment thereof, the hand grip being so arranged on the shank and connected with the movable jaw that the leverage of the hand grip is increased in direct proportion to the size of the nut engaged .A still further object of the invention is to provide an improved wrench of the above character, which is durable and efficient in use, one that is simple and easy to manufacture, and one that can be placed upon the market at a reasonable cost. |
