Description: |
The patent is an improvement on Parmelee's March 6, 1888 patent (no. 379,123). The patent adds a motion limit stop to prevent breaking the hinge pins connecting the arc segments. A slide on the back of the handle replaces the original spring to keep the ends of the grip in place on the handle.
Supplanted by later Parmelee patents (nos. 648,706 and 871,436). |
