Stan Schulz LUECK COPPER HEAD 4100 rim bolt wrench (FLICKR)
|
Description: |
The rotating head with the sockets is held in place by a compression spring and catch. The handle was easily rotated 90 degrees for extra leverage starting & final tightening, with "speed wrench" for most of the bolt's travel. Some advertising emphasized copper plating and lacquer finish to make the tool rust resistant.
Initial production by Lueck; also described as the COPPERHEAD RIM-BOLT WRENCH, made by Cataract Mfg. Co, Milwaukee. Later produced as the FULTON COPPERHEAD SERVICE WRENCH by the Fulton Company, Milwaukee. |
