| Description: | | There are two innovations. One is to attach the matcher-head frames to the adjustable table so that the matcher heads move when the stock thickness is adjusted. The other is to attach the feed-roller gearing frame to the feed-roller box, so that the gearing does not have to be adjusted when the feed-rollers are adjusted. This patent was used on Josiah Ross' No. 4 'Monitor' planer-matcher. We have seen this patent date on a planer being sold by George Parr of Buffalo. Parr was also a machinery manufacturer but in this case we believe he was reselling a planer made by Josiah Ross. | |
