Description: |
The gripping jaws are designed to reach countersunk bolt heads. The design shown in the drawings has flared ends loosely pivoted in the handle bar so the jaws can be driven into timbers surrounding a countersunk bolt head. The jaws are clamped onto the bolt head by a ratchet-driven connecting screw. The ratchet is reversible. |
