| The major feature of the patent is the inserts for the ratchet head. The inside of the ratchet head has notches, and the inserts have springs with ridges to clip into the notches. The ratchet action has two pawls. A rotating ring with a lug disengages one or another of the pawls. The patent presents an alternate form for the handle. |
