| A swinging hook has a lateral pin to engage a bolt hole in the flange. The end of the lever handle has gripping teeth to engage the outer surface of the flange.
In 1905 this wrench was in production by the Brock Wrench Company of Garwood, NJ -- Formerly of Long Island City, NY. By 1909 the Brock Wrench Mfg. Co. was showing a New York City address, in a listing showing this wrench and the BROCK CHAIN WRENCH based on patent no. 483,419. |
