Description:

The specifications describe this as an improvement to the A. G. Coes June 1,1858 patent no. 20,407. The two patents have a screw ring adjustment for the movable jaw. In this patent, both jaws have pipe gripping surfaces and directly face each other. The secondary handle has a cam lobe that tightens the jaw's grip.
