Description: |
The patent is for the handle formed of a bent rod, and the form of connection to the socket. Alternate "single loop" and "double loop" handle forms are described and differentiated.
Closely related to Bellows' Oct. 22, 1918 Wrench Socket patent (no. 1,282,028). The patents are the basis for the wire handle "brace socket," "L" handle and "T" handle socket wrenches produced by Walden-Worcester.
The 400 series "L" handle and 600 series "speed" wrenches were advertised as "new" in late 1916.
