Socket members have a circular stud surrounded by a groove, with radiating pins. The head of the handle portion has a circular opening with two rows of projecting teeth. One row is for tightening; the other for loosening.
A known example marked" NONE BETTER // Made by the New Britain Machine Co., PAT'D. 8-9-1921 ." includes a spring-loaded "keeper" to hold the reversible hex drive stub in the handle.
