Abstract:
An object of the invention is to provide an improved gear puller having its jaws designed and supported in such a manner that when the puller is in use, the jaws or work engaging arms will grip the work to prevent, slipping ,of the jaws therefrom.
Claim:
In a gear puller, the combination of a block having a jack screw mounted therein, links pivotally connected with said block, jaws pivotally connected with said links, and the opposite ends of said block being convexed and adapted to be engaged by said jaws to cause the latter to grip the work, when the screw is operated.
