Description: |
The basic form is a "side-cutter" pliers of the type used by electricians. The "lower" jaw is modified with a large circular extension at right angles. The circumference of this extension has a toothed notch. The tool is to grasp and pull single insulated strands of electrical conductor during the process of installing "knob and tube" wiring systems.
Known example does not include the side cutter feature. |
