| The ratchet is designed to work with the extension handle described in pat no. 2,680,985. The body of the ratchet is constructed of steel stamping, laminated.
A known example marked with the patent number and "BENDER EQUIP. CO." has a fixed handle rather than provision for use with a "breaker bar." A ca. 1960 Bender Equipment Co. (South Gate, CA) [Houston O. Bender] is a possible source. |
