Description: |
| Lifting the swinging handle frees the jaws to slide in relation to each other. Gear teeth on the lever handle tighten the grip.
Produced as the Power Grip, at Mountainair, New Mexico. Known examples are marked "Patent Pending" or "PAT'D." One KNOWN example marked "POWERGRIP WRENCH CO. / SHAWNEE OKLA" reflects a company founded in 1935, and may reflect an earlier stage in evolution of the tool.
