| The base of the hook jaw has teeth that engage a tw-way ratchet spring. The spring is strong enough to hold the jaw in place in any position. This allows one-hand operation. The bolt at the pivot point allows the hook jaw to be replaced, or a single handle to be used with several sizes of hook jaws. |
