Description: |
| The lifter consists of a standard with a rigid cross-arm and attachments. A ratchet wheel at the top of the standard winds up a leather strap attached to a lifting slide on the side of the standard. The ratchet wheel is driven by a crank. The crank is at the top of a strip parallel to the main standard. Towards the lower end of the strip is an adjustable slide containing a crank-type axle nut wrench. |
