My invention relates to that class of grinding-machines in which, a revolving grindstone or other grinding-disk is employed and my invention consists in combining with the reciprocating rest of the machine a flexible guide-bar, by the adjustment of which a straight or curved cutting-edge may be imparted to a plane-iron, chisel, or other cutting instrument. My invention also consists of a reciprocating rest, constructed in the peculiar manner fully described hereafter, for presenting the tool to the grinding-disk. |
