Description: |
Macon, Fenwick & Lawrence - patent attorneys
The object of this improvement is to hold the traveling bed-plate of a planer down firmly on its ways and prevent trembling by means of a yoked brace, which is applied to a fixed bar of an anti-friction wheel that works on top of a flanged rack on the bottom of the said bed plate, and which is also applied to the shaft of the wheel which engages with said rack, thereby forming, in connection with one side of the frame of the machine, a quadrangular brace.
