Our invention has for its object to furnish an improved lathe, designed especially for turning oval and other shaped picture frames from slate or marble, but which shall be equally applicable for other uses; and it consists in the combination of the sliding-frame, shaft, patterns, adjustable bearings, and spring with each other and with the frame of the machine, the whole being constructed and arranged as hereinafter more fully described. |
