Description:
The jaw adjusts by the advance and retraction of a link acting in angled slots in the case and movable jaw. Aspects of this patent and of Collison & Wright's Oct. 1, 1918 patent (no. 1,280,405) appear in an adjustable plier-wrench marked "Collison - Wright "S" Wrench, Ord Mfg., Ord, Neb. Pat'd Dec. 5, 1911." Three variants of the Collison-Wright wrench are shown in picture no. 309 of "Antique and Unusual Wrenches" by Schulzes.
