D. J. Lattimore of Philadelphia exhibited "McClelland's Planing Machine Duster" at the 1875 Franklin Institute Exhibition, and won a Silver Medal. An April 1876 catalog for Power, Tainter & Co. shows "D. J. Lattimore's M'Clelland's Patent Planing Machine Duster. (Patented August 4th, 1868.)" See also patent 80,647.
