R.J. North Wagon Wrench (Scientific American May 11, 1872)
Description:
The wrench is a square socket to fit wagon axle nuts. It can be adapted to smaller sizes by the use of bushings. The springs attach it to the wheel spokes, and the nut is then removed and replaced by turning the wheel.
