Description: |
The patent is an improvement to monkey wrenches where the main bar and the step to support the adjusting screw are made in one piece. The step in this patent is welded on to the shank after the movable jaw is slid on, and the adjusting screw is held in place by a pin inserted from below. The washer at the base of the adjusting screw is to take up the space formed by screwing the adjusting screw into the movable jaw a couple of threads. |
