Description: |
The handle tapers so the "fixed" jaw and movable jaw can be slid off. There are interchangeable smooth face (nut) and toothed face (pipe) jaws. The movable jaw slides and has rack teeth to engage rack teeth on the shank. Tregallas patented further evolution of this idea on Setp. 26, 1882 (pat. no. 265,188). |
