Description: |
| This combination nut and pipe wrench is an improvement on Davis' August 24, 1869 patent (no.94,085). The adjusting nut is rounded on the top and bottom to allow for a rocking motion for the pipe wrench function. To cut down on weight, the inside of the movable jaw is hollow. The manufactured wrench also incorporates additional improvements Davis patented on November 14, 1871 (pat. no. 120,947). |
