Description: |
The "interchangeable jaws" of this pliers works at right angles to the movement of the handles. The handle motion is transfered to the interchangeable jaw by a hook-shaped spiral twist "intermediate jaw" on one handle. The friction & "leverage" inherent in this design means the jaw position will hold until the handles are moved.
Olds also received a self-adjusting pipe wrench patent (no. 65588) on this date. |
