Description: |
| The swinging lower portion of the adjustable jaw has the threads that engage with the adjusting screw. That portion can be swung out sufficiently to disengage from the threads, to allow for quick adjustment as well as screw adjustment.
Improved by Starrett's Feb. 25, 1879 patent no. 212,760.
