The movable jaw of this malleable iron wrench has lips which slide over flanges on the shank. The base of the movable jaw is attached to the shank by the adjusting nut. This design was used for an inexpensive adjustable wrench accompanying agricultural implements and other machinery. Most found have Sept. 75 & June 76 date marking reflecting reissue patent RE7,173.
