| The quick adjust mechanism has a vertically ribbed ring at the botton of a steep spiral screw engaging a pin in the moveable jaw. When the spring catch locking the position of the ribbed ring is released, the movable jaw can be slid into position, and the adjusting spiral turns. Known examples are well made and highly prized by collectors. |
