Description: |
The wrench is a hook jaw with a keeper spring. The wire bail which encircles the back of the hook jaw can be swung up to serve as a "depth stop." The design may have been related to early oil well operations as Pleasantville was an oil well "boom town," and the open hook jaw looks like a "sucker rod wrench." (edited Jan. 4, 2024) |
